Hi, I’m Polly.
I was born on leap day in 1964, Polly Jo Wilson.
I grew up loving my name so much that when I married John Wilson, I decided to keep it — no name change needed! ;)
These days, I share life with John, our four kids: George, Emma, Jack and Charlie, our lab Millie, our cat, Scout, and our grand-dog, Arthur, who keeps us all on our toes.
I love cooking and gardening, and our home is often filled with the smells of something simmering on the stove and the colors of whatever’s blooming outside. Hosting friends and family around the table is one of my greatest joys. My hope is always the same: that people leave happy, full, and with a recipe or two to carry on the experience at home.

The Supper Club
Starting Polly’s Plates felt like the beginning of a new season in my life. Once the kids graduated from college, I found myself with more time and energy to pour into the things I love most — cooking, gardening, and gathering people around my table.
I began the supper club with my sister, Rosanne. We dreamed it up together as a way to share our love of food and hospitality in our own communities. Though we’re states apart from one another, we work together to plan the dinners, swap ideas and recipes, and then each host in our own kitchens. It’s become a joyful rhythm — a way to keep us connected as sisters while welcoming new friends into the family.
